Description

This course has been developed for individuals with a relevant Certificate III Trade qualification who are seeking to gain their Restricted Electrical Licence (Disconnect/Reconnect).

During this course you will gain the required skills and knowledge to assist you in obtaining a National Restricted Electrical Licence (NREL). You will learn how to identify supply arrangements, follow isolation procedures, select and use testing and measuring devices, terminate and connect cables and commission equipment. On-campus coursework includes learning and assessment in a simulated environment, designed to provide learners with real-life scenarios aimed at preparing students for the scope of work that this licence allows.

If you are seeking information regarding your eligibility to obtain a NREL you will need to contact Consumer Business Services 131882 (ext. 3) prior to enrolling into the course as TAFE SA does not issue or maintain licencing related to this qualification.
